Best size 8 fit I've ever foundJan 06, 2009
By KGK421 I love Prana. I am a 5'5", 135 (OK, 140) pound, conventionally-sized woman and have always considered myself a size 8. Trying on jeans, however, is usually a disaster as "size 8" never seems to fit correctly. Lately I've determined that I must have a size 8 waist, but a size 10 butt. I bought these cords just because I was so tired of dealing with ill-fitting jeans and because the other prana pants (cargo pants) I have fit really well and make me look great. These cords met all my expectations. The waist and the butt fit me perfectly, and I can still get my hands in all four pockets comfortably. I would highly recommend these. They are also super soft which is especially nice for those of us living in colder climes. Thank you Prana!

Do you want mustard with that burger?Sep 10, 2009
By C Myers I just ordered these pants in Mustard. Yuck! I love the old vintage colors and love the old yellow look, but these are really gross looking, sorta with green mold hue to it. I did like the stretchy fabric and it appears to have a good give in them, but they do run low on the waist, too long for the average size woman (I am 5"6 1/2" and weigh 142), and you can see that camel toe, you know in the crotch. I guess they wouldn't hurt to stick them in boots or wear them for yard work, but my rag pants are better looking and better fitting then these. I think if you are stick thin, with no curves, at least 5'9", and love the super low cut pants, then these would be a good thing for you. Just please save yourself some hassle and don't buy the mustard.
I ordered two pants by this company and the material (quality-wise) does seem to be worth something, but the colors and sizing is so off. I might try again with them, but with the mustard color and buns hanging out all over the place, I would have rather ordered a burger.

Prana High Quality Cords, Magnets for HairSep 05, 2009
By Orchidalis Love these cords, they are thick and stretchy material, and they tend to fit many different bodies since there is considerable give in the fabric. I usually wear a 6 or 8 in most brands and these are a solid fit in 6, I am a 29 waist and 36.5 hips. I got the black and wish they came in grey since everything from cat hair to pollen particles stick to these like magic. The day they invent cords that are not nuclear particle magnets is the day I might wear these again. In the meantime, i keep them in a plastic containment bag and wear them outside, in couch free zones.
Even though I said I wouldn't...Sep 20, 2011

buy pants til I lost all the weight I gained, I had to buy some pants. Size 10 fits pretty well, despite my having gained 35 lbs (hey, I'm 5'10", I can gain 30 lbs and go up one size) - my only problem is that they are not quite long enough for my 34" inseam. I love the cut and the pockets - I suspect the fit will be different when I finally lose my fat backside!!
Love the lookMar 29, 2010
By dma Just recieved these cords in the pine color. They have a very nice feel to them. Thick stretchy material. I usually wear a size 7-8 in womens, have a small waist, & wider hips having had children. The waist is too big, & I'll need a belt.
If you're a mom, or have any bit of a gut, they run on the short side in the waist. Would be perfect if they were 1/2-one inch higher in front & back. I'm afraid to sit & bend over in these(espcially at work) with my underwear showing. Will have to wear long shirts. That's my only complaint. Wanted a second pair, but will have wear these around for a while to see if I can handle the low waist. Also wondering if a size 6 would be a better fit. Wouldn't want them to be too tight. We'll see if they shrink.
These look very nice & slender on. (just a tad bit long, but I can deal with that)
To order or not to order again, that's the question. Maybe Prana has a better fitting pant?
