 Great tent for the moneySep 01, 2010
We purchased this tent for a multi-family camping trip--we were torn between spending $150+ on a very sturdy tent and the $69 on this tent. We finally went for this one as we figured it would probably work fine for a couple of camping trips per year. This tent was great for the money--we were not expecting the $150 quality. The tent itself is easy to set up and tear down. The quality of the screen was what you would expect for $70--seemed a little flimsy at first, but it held up, even with 9 kids running into it and zipping the door up and down (and these were kids between 2 and 8 years old). There is a slight chance some bugs would get in along the bottom--though we did not have this problem on our trip. It did not rain, so I also do not know how it will function in a downpour, but my guess is that it would be fine--the top of the tent is made of waterproof, tarp-like material. Rain would come in the sides of any screen tent, so that would be the main issue. We easily fit a picnic table and two, 4' pop up tables for food storage/prep. There was ample room for multiple adults to work prepping food/sit at the picnic table. We think it was well worth the money and we expect to get at least a few years if not more use out of it!

This is a piece of garbage...the screens were torn in multiple places right out of the box...we needed it for the weekend so we stitched it up...you get what you pay for...and this is junk..too much p.i.a to send it back....beware!!

This item is without a doubt the worst waste of money in my life. I threw it into the trash. I rate it no stars.

We bought two Texsport Westview Screen Arbors in May, 2010 and they lasted two months. The material has ripped at the top and continue to separate at the seams on both of the screen houses. It is a shame because they fit on our deck perfectly. I guess I should have paid more attention to the other reviews.
