More then I needed, but worked greatOct 13, 2009
By Greg E. Fox The kit comes with several tent poles, shock cord and other parts. I only needed one pole. I had to cut it myself, but I worked great.

Great kit.Nov 29, 2011
By good_life We had two bad poles on a borrowed tent and used the two poles from this kit to replace them. Had to cut them using a hacksaw, but it worked fine. If you have to cut the pole, this is what I did:
1. Got a mini hacksaw & masking tape from local dollar store. 2. Wrap the masking tape around the area where you have to cut. 3. Use the current (old) pole to mark your 'spot' - insure you marking all around. 4. Started out light but then applied bit pressure as I was cutting and was able to cut the pole in under a minute. 5. Remove the left over masking tape and you are done :)

2 new sets, one set obviously "pre-owned"Dec 09, 2011
By T. Vann I bought two set of these texsport pole replacement kits. One set was fine, the other set looked fine until I unwrapped the tied-together bungee cord. The cord was obviously used: frays in several areas and a ragged knot linking together two lengths. I attempted to use it anyway, but the cord broke at the knot. Also, one of the end caps was already anchored in one of the ferrules. The set was obviously used, returned, slapped in a new package, then sent out to me.
If I was actually using the pole for its intended purpose (a tent pole replacement), I would have shipped it back. Since I was using the pole only as a bottom anchor for a net fence across my driveway, I was able to make it work in its present sorry state.
Saved the tent from going to trash!May 10, 2012
By Turkmanna Had to cut them to length and sand them down. The metal ends were slightly loose fit on the old rods, but nothing too bad. The shock cord included was only good to repair one rod (My tent uses a rod combination that ends up 12 feet long!). Over all, since it saved a $100 tent, it was worth the price. Sad part of the whole deal is, we used our tent only 3 times since we purchased it, and both of the center rods broke during camp without any abuse--DO NOT BUY SWISS GEAR TENTS, they are junk.
good kitAug 06, 2011
By M. Hansen worked great with the Kelty Ridgeway net we have. I had 3 bad pools and this kit was able to extend the life of the tent for a few more years. I did not realize that you had to cut the pools length until after they arrive but this was not really a problem.
