I purchased the Ossagon eVent Hiking Shoe after trying several other popular brands (Merrell, Columbia, Salomon, Keen). All I have to say is WOW! These are comfortable right out of the box, waterproof, breathable, they have spider rubber...they are the most wicked cool hikers I've seen. I have other Tevas and am never disappointed in their quality or style, these are no exception. These blow away all the cheap-feeling, overpriced other hikers I tried on (Merrell Siren, Merrell Chameleon, various Columbias & Keens). You will NOT be disappointed with these hikers. They come in boots too if you need more ankle coverage! And Amazon.Com has THE best prices on either pair! Happy Trails.....
Note: Sizing seems to run a about 1 full size short on these, so if you wear a 7, I'd order an 8 just to be safe.

11-2009 I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a half size larger (size 6-1/2 rather than my usual size 6). Good thing because the half-size larger fit me perfectly. The large toe box ensures lots of wiggle room and room for thick socks. The boots were comfortable even after hiking for a couple of hours. I was impressed that I did not have any spots that rubbed, therefore no blisters or sore areas, and my leg muscles were not strained or sore. These boots are a worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend them.
9-2011 UPDATE I did a few short hikes and loved the fit of these boots. Unfortunately, during a long and slippery hike this year the heel fell off and was lost, making the rest of the hike quite treacherous. Since it has been almost two years since the date of purchase, the refund was only 50% and the customer pays for shipping. It's not worth the trouble of returning them so I'm stuck with a pair of defective boots. I am very disappointed in the quality of these hiking boots as they were only used on occasion and virtually brand new when they fell apart.

On the first walk with these shoes, both soles came unglued and detached (one was lost on the walk) and both heels came partially unglued. Be careful if you are planning a long hike with these!

These shoes are VERY comfortable. I haven't worn any other shoe since I received these. I love the looks and the feel of them. I haven't been this pleased with any other shoe I've bought in a long time. I would recommned these to any and all of my friends.

I loved the look, fit and feel of these Teva hiking shoes, but (as reported by a couple of other reviewers) the soles (which come in 2 parts) become unglued from the base of the shoe and fall off.
Disappointed in the quality of these shoes by Teva.
I'm going to think very carefully before I buy another pair of hiking shoes from this company.
