I purchased these for my husband for Christmas. He was in great need of some new well built boots or shoes. He had been wearing a pair of Teva's work boots for years and wore them sooo much that they pretty much fell apart, but they held up for quite some time. The new shoes I purchased for him from Teva are built horrible.The price was good and I trusted the brand. They said they are for hiking and rock climbing, yet all my husband uses them for is work, standing and walking, nothing too strenuous by any means. After just barely a month of him wearing them the bottom tread starting coming apart and is now to where the tread looks like it will fall of any day, I was very disappointed knowing that Teva is usually a good brand. The look and style of the boot is attractive and we liked that about them, but just very dissapointed they didn't hold up for longer than a month! However he did contact the company and they will replace the shoes for free but we have to pay to ship the old ones back.

When i see them they look fine to me. The size was wright and the felt comfortable every time. I wear this shoes once a week in normal conditions and six months later the sole begins to come off and i had to use some rubber glue. In a very short time the leather wears out making this shoes ugly.

Aside from the minor detail of the tread coming unglued after a week, these are great shoes. Very comfortable, but should come with a complimentary bottle of shoe goo, or a label: "not to be used as actual shoes." Was thinking of trying another pair- They're very comfy and hoping mine were a singularity, but after reading reviews of others with the identical issue, definitely not worth the risk.

So pleasantly surprised by these. Very attractive, and as another reviewer stated - without question the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. After a year or so daily wear, the rubber soles did begin to come apart from the bottom of the shoe. I could still wear them however and still have them to this day. I don't regret my purchase.

I purchased the Teva Tamur for my husband for our camping trip. I've always liked the comfort and quality of Teva sneakers and hikers, but these shoes fell short.
First of all they were run a 1/2 size smaller than marked. My husband said they would be okay with a light sock. The soles came unglued we noticed after our hike. They were literally flopping. Luckly my husband brought a pair of sneakers that he wore for the rest of the trip. I don't know if it was bad glue or poor engineering/design. But I can not believe that a company as reputable as Teva does not have strict quality control and they should have a recall of these hikers to all of their authorized dealers. It's a shame but now I'm weary to buy Tevas. What also irks me is that I had to pay the return shipping for these lemons. I'm not happy with Amazon for this reason as well.
