Great Big Bag!Aug 02, 2010 Used the bag for a 30 day trip to the California Sierra's in July over 9400 feet in elevation. Our first night was 31 degrees in our tent and our new Teton "0" degree queen size bag was warm and very comfortable. I am over 6'2" and had plenty of room. My wife gets very cold, even in the summer. This bag kept her warm the entire trip. I never zipped up my side of the bag or I would get too warm. Great product. We highly recommend.
Love it!Jul 17, 2010 Awesome bag - nice to snuggle with your sweetie on a camping trip. Love the additional head "flap," the quality zipper, color, and comfort. Was uber-worried about being "too" warm given our first trip was getting down only to the early 50's or so, but was fabulously surprised to learn that simply opening up the zippers and sticking an arm out or something was enough to stay nicely comfy, like Goldilocks. Can also easily imagine how warm and toasty it's going to be when we're in some high-mountain, Colorado cold nights in the teens, especially when have 2 bodies together to keep warm.
And the carrying case? Fantastic! Yup, this bad boy's heavy, but think about it - one "quality" bag's going to be heavy, and this one's the weight of two. Thus, when got it, loved, loved, loved the carrying case but when started folding, thought there was no-nodda-zip way that this thing was going back in it and was ready to shoot self. Ahh, patience prevailed, for tried again, calmly, thought about it, and worked a little harder, and voila - man, went from "arrgghh" to "yeah baby" like that! Was in the handy little case, zip-tie pulled quickly up and tossed in the car and on our way, neatly packed away. Have no doubt that next time use it will get it in there much more quickly since know it works with the right effort.
Buy it, buy it, buy it - love this brand!
So great!Jul 12, 2010 I bought this a couple weeks ago and have already used it camping in the mountains of CO twice. We plan on using it many more times this summer as well.
It is soooo comfortable on the inside, very soft. It kept me totally warm but not too warm. I never got too hot nor did I ever get cold. My boyfriend got warm a couple times but he just unzipped his side and stuck his legs out. Usually when we are camping we are ready to get out of bed, but we found ourselves wanting to just lay in our tent in the most comfortable sleeping bag. The combo of the sleeping bag and air mattress is pretty great! It will probably be too hot to bring on some of our camping/boating trips, but great for the mountain ones!!
This is a huge sleeping bag. My boyfriend has no problem putting it back into the compression sack, but if I had to do it alone I wouldn't be able to. (I tried, HA!) With that said, obviously this is not a back packing sleeping bag...
I love and am soo happy I decided to buy it for us. Totally worth it.
Kept us very warm but heavy and bulky!Jul 09, 2010 The sleeping bag is really huge and kept our family of four (2 adults &2 kids)very warm during our camping trip. One flaw is that the sleeping bag is very bulky and difficult to fold. Its impossible to fit it back in the bag it came in. It weighs a lot and my hands get tired while carrying it from one place to another.
Love it!Jul 01, 2010 I was planning on buying 2 regular bags and zipping them together, but I spotted this on Amazon, so I figured, why not?
The bag came double-boxed and well protected. It has a very well made stuff-sack with compression straps.
The outer liner (taffeta) feels nicely water repellant without being too plastic. The inner felt liner is very comfortable.
I'm 6'4" and right at 300 lbs. This sleeping bag is HUGE! Plenty of room for 2 people and I've got lots of headroom inside of the bag, including room for a pillow. There are tons of adjustments at the head to close in the top over your head completely for maximum warmth or to just keep your pillows safely inside of the bag with you. It's amzing how good this bag feels.
I laid the bag out on my queen sized bed. It draped over the foot of the bed by about 3-4 inches and was 3-4 inches short of spanning side to side. I took some pics and I'll try to add them to the Amazon listing.
