Very warm and cozy!Jan 09, 2007

I do a lot of camping in very cold weather and I'm not exactly a tiny person. Neither is my husband. We both fit in this tent very comfortably being the size we are and in 22 degree weather we were VERY warm in this sleeping bag. It was well worth what we paid for it and then some. Before we got this sleeping bag, we didn't sleep well camping because it would be so cold we would shake all night, but this time other people came out of their tents saying they didn't get a good nights sleep because it was too cold. And we got good sleep!
So, this sleeping bag is wide enough for bigger folk (200+) and warm enough for REALLY cold weather.
Another cool feature it has is this piece that you can pull over your face and head if you want to, and it has this slight indention to where you can still breath, or tunnel as I call it. So your nose and mouth doesn't freeze.

Fanstastic bag for two adults! Inside is soft flannel, thick and fluffy... very very warm in the Montana mountains.Jul 03, 2009
By T. L. Wheeler This is our first "two person bag" and it's great! My husband is 6'6" and he is able to fit in it deep enough to cover completely up. It is roomy enough for us both to move and sleep very comfortably. It is warm, and I mean WARM!! We used it on our recent 18 day camping trip through 6 states and very different climates. In Utah, we didn't even zip it up, it's so warm just as a blanket type set up. In Montana we did challange it's warmth factor, zipped up, and still we were toasty all night long. When we fisrt took it out of the stuff bag it comes in it didn't look like it would fit back in. The trick is to NOT roll it, but just stuff it back in like you would a regular bag. It does fit in the stuff bag, and we stuffed it 18 times on this trip (we move from campground to campground when traveling). the stuff bag has compression straps on it too, but we didn't really use them since we were taking it out and putting it in the stuff bag so regularly. Now that it's stored for a couple weeks at home, we did compress it after stuffing it. But don't kid yourself, this is a large, thick bag, so when stuffed it's pretty good size to transport. We car camp quite a bit more then the average couple and this bag is the best addition to our equipments we've made in a long time, I would recommend to anyone!

worth the priceFeb 15, 2007
By Diane Ho I hesitated buying this sleeping bag due to the price, but my boyfriend insisted on it. We went camping with it this past weekend, and the temperature was around 50 or mid-40's (we were on a beach in southern California), so we didn't exactly test it in extreme temperatures. It was so warm and cozy and definitely kept us warmer than our cheap sleeping bags would have. Actually it was so warm we had to open the sides a little to let air in! Having slept uncomfortably cold nights in a cheap sleeping bag before, this sleeping bag is worth the price for the good night's sleep alone. On our second night camping, it rained pretty hard and we realized our tent was leaking. We patched it with some tape and trash bags, but the inside of the tent was fairly wet. The outer material of the sleeping bag appears to be waterproof, so we were still pretty warm the whole night even though it got a little wet (we brought a spare sleeping bag to pad under the Teton - it was soaked). Now we just need a good tent to go with our awesome sleeping bag!

Excellent Car Camping Bag!!!Jun 27, 2008

This sleeping bag is awesome! My husband and I used to zip 2 sleeping bags together, but it never really worked. This does! We can tuck our pillows into the top, zip up each side independently, and stay warm and cozy all night. Our dog can even snuggle up in between us, on the top of the bag! Plenty of room!
The flannel lining is so comfortable.
This isn't a hiking bag. It weighs 16.7lbs, and measures 27 inches high by 15 wide when it's packed into it's stuff sack. But what a stuff sack this is! Support straps run up all 4 sides, which can be tightened and released easily, and double as a carrying straps.

Excellent over-size sleeping bagFeb 25, 2007
By Justin Heine The Teton Sports Mammoth 0-Degree sleeping bag is a great over-size bag for the money. The quality of construction is great, and when I used it in 35 degree F temperatures with another person it is very comfortable (in the desert, not sure how well it will perform in a humid environment). The bag also comes in a very well built sack with adjusting straps.
The picture on Amazon of it with three people in it however is a little misleading, in that picture it truly appears massive, but I would say two adults fit well in it, but adding any more bodies than that may get crowded. Also, I am 6'-4" feet tall and I would say this bag will be long enough for someone as tall as 6'-7".
