Description:

Double layer offset, differential cut construction eliminates cold spots. Easy Access Drawcords with Barrel Lock Closures permit closure of drawcords on hood and storm collar. The cords are either flat or round, allowing users to easily adjust storm collars and hoods in low light situations. Hook and Loop Closures provide firm closure of the bag and prevent zippers from separating or opening. Anti-Snag Zipper Protection is sewn along the draft tube and zipper to ensure reliable zipper operation. Internal Collars are baffles sewn to the liner, used to prevent heat loss from the neck and shoulders. Utility Pockets inside the bag are used to store small items like car keys, flashlights, and cell phones, so they'll be close at hand. Draft Tubes are baffles sewn adjacent to the zipper to keep cold air out and prevent heat loss through the zipper coils. Weather Wedge is a small piece of triangular fabric that is sewn at the base of the zipper to prevent heat loss at the zipper's bottom. This also reduces stress at the point where the zipper is sewn for greater durability. Compression stuff sack included.

4Nice cold weather sleeping bagJan 16, 2008
By P. Morrow
I've bought two of this model. They work real well for cold weather camping. Most of my cold weather camping is with the boy scouts in igloos and snow caves. I've sleep on multiple occasions where it has been 10-20 degrees outside, probably 30 degrees where I'm sleeping and I've been cozy. The only compliant I have is the zipper catches on the inside baffle. My other summer Slumberjack sleeping bag has a larger zipper and doesn't catch. My summer bag is now 25 years old and still looks and works great. I'm hoping this model lasts just as long.

5Perfect for winter camping! Best bag I've ever owned!Feb 22, 2009
By J. Pavlak
There are so many great features to this bag, so let me list some of my favorites as an experienced camper.

- Warm interior fabric isn't ice cold when you crawl in like other nylon bags.

- Plenty of room. Especially important since I am tall and roll around a lot. I always felt constricted and tangled up in my mummy bag, but I can lay in this bag and move around freely. I can lay on my side with my legs bent and have the room to do it without the bag twisting around my legs.

- Compact storage.

- High quality materials.

- Sturdy zipper.

- PRICE - how's they do it all for so cheap?!?

The only "bad" thing about this bag is it's weight, but I didn't want it for hiking so it's not an issue for me. It's light for what you get, but not something I'd want to lug around for days.

5Warm and CozyJan 05, 2012
By shopper girl
Love this sleeping bag! I used it in Alaska this fall. I tend to get cold and hate mummy bags so after researching other bags I settled on this one. At 40 degrees I had my feet sticking out the bottom double zipper (which I truly appreciated). The interior material is soft and very comfortable. I did not need to use the hood for warmth so it acted more as a pillow. There is an inside pocket for valuables... though I wasn't worried the bears would run off with my wallet. I worked up a sweat putting it back in the stuff bag and it is rather big even when completely compressed, but there has to be some compromise if you want a large style bag. This bag was a good choice for me.

5Comforts Away From Home.May 06, 2009

To my surprise sleeping bag arrive professionally wrapped in its own carrying case. Smart design and craftsmanship, rooming and spaces. I found carry case much too tight for sleeping bag to go back into after use. I felt design should allow more space for easy usability overall; product fits my needs. Found product comfortable and satisfying for trips in the near future.

5Great for the kids!May 25, 2008
By J. McClure
I purchased 2 for my 6 year old nephew. Colors are great, quality of fabric is nice. Light weight and compact as far as bags of this style go. Roomy and snuggly warm for the kids. Perfect for weekend camping and overnights in a tent which was the intent of the purchase.
