Nice for emergency or light duty use only.Dec 09, 2011
By D. Garrison This is as basic & no thrills as you get for a tent. It is meant for emergency use or for light applications only. Its very small & packable for day-packs, BOB's, GHB's, car etc. It is very bright & attention getting which is what you want in an emergency situation. It comes with some very cheap cord to use for setting it up. The cord is worthless & will not hold up if used around trees with rough bark or tied around rocks. Toss the supplied cord & carry either some 550 para-cord or tarred nylon twine instead.

Emergency TentMay 11, 2011

I found this tent was easy to back along and we used to for a gear tent. But I am sure they would be fine for a back up.

pricey trash bagJan 20, 2012
By roadwarrior What I think happened here is trash bag factory accidentally produced a bunch of extra large orange trash bags, didn't know what to do with them, and decided to rip off a bunch of unsuspecting customers by selling this thin plastic monstrosity as a tent by including a small, weak piece of nylon rope with it. Seriously I could have bought a whole roll of trash bags for 4 bucks. And those trash bags would have at least been black, helping me camouflage myself, embarrassed that I can't afford a real tent, or at least something that's practical. There's no holes in the plastic to use with the string, there's no evidence whatsoever that this product could even be used for any efficient camping method. The plastic is so thin I'm not even going to try to put over anything to use as a rain guard. You get what you pay for I suppose.. but why would someone order a big bottomless orange trash bag off the internet?

Heavy Duty Tent/ TarpOct 22, 2011
By Survivor T This tent looks like it will hold up under the elements. Can also be used as tarp or for other than emergencies. I bought it for my emergency bag, but I think I'll get more uses out of it.
