 Love this bike stand!Jul 25, 2010
As an older bicycle rider, I like to keep my bike running and shifting well. This unit saved my knees and back... no longer have to kneel or stoop down in poor light to try to see what I'm trying to do. I have it folded up and on a hook on the wall in my garage, when I need to make an adjustment I just pull it down, set it up, put the bike on it, and I'm soon done. I have not owned any other bike stand, just jury-rigged something in the garage; but it never worked too well. This is the only bike I've put on it but it hooked up quickly and held the bike in place at the position I needed to get the job accomplished. I looked at other non-Park models and they either were a klutzy clamp or not as sturdy.

I decided to purchase this stand rather than the PCS-9 stand, and very glad I did. I also bought the parts tray for it, which needs a clamp bracket to attach it to the frame. This -10 model has it, the -09 does not. That is one reason I am glad I bought it. Also, this one, just from looking at the photos, looks sturdier, and it is quite sturdy. It was very easy to put together (just needed a little time to sort the parts out) and very easy to fold up and take out again to hang a bike on it. I added a photo on the parts tray page to show how that can be improved by adding some rare earth magnets to hold small parts like allen wrenches, knives, sockets etc. The cam locks are very easy to use, but takes a few minutes to get used to using them. The ONLY thing I would add a downside to is the ball catches where the legs fold into and the main stem folds up and down on. The leg part is no big deal, but you have to hold the unit up to press the ball in for the main support stem, which could potentially pinch a finger, or a small piece of skin of. The ball catches are required to hold the legs in the folded position, and to hold the bottom bracket down when assembled. That bottom bracket ball is where you could pinch your self. But, if your careful, you shouldn't have too much of a problem with it. Just be aware of it.
All in all, for the price, a very good stand that should out last your life time.

Terrific Stand, Terrific Price.Jul 08, 2010
For starters, I work at a little local bicycle shop. I know my stuff. We have five or six of these stands throughout the shop and they get constant use day in and day out. We've never had a problem with any of them. They stay in place perfectly well even when your sitting there trying to yank a freewheel off of a rear wheel. I'm planning on getting one for my own, at home use, when my next paycheck get in because in my opinion there is no better substitute that comes with such awesome quality for such a reasonable price.

Sturdy time saver makes troubleshooting easyJun 13, 2010
I bought this stand to overhaul my old Miyata Ridge Runner and my wife's old Myata Street Runner and to tune up my mountain bike. What a difference it made!
I never used a stand before and found that troubleshooting derallieur and brake problems so much easier than turning the bike upside down and trying to shift or brake, and turn the pedals and at the same time.
The PSC-10 stand is sturdy and collapes for stroage making it ideal for the garage or apartment mechanic. I wish I had this in the '70s when I was a student and had to tear my commuter down every time I rode in the rain.
I also bought the The Park Tool Work Tray which I thought was very useful for holding parts, tools, rags and lubricants etc. at hand level as opposed to bending down to pick up those items.

Bought the repair stand at a very reasonable price, for that alone it is well worth it. I am an avid biker and have been doing my own repairs for a few years now without a repair stand. Very frustrating trying to repair or adjust anything. The day I received the PCS-10 I was able to work on two bikes in a couple of hours instead of one bike in several hours. To adjust the front and rear derailleurs on the one bike would have taken a couple of hours in itself. With adjusting and then having to get on the bike and take it for a spin to see if the adjustment was right. Much easier and quicker to have it up on the stand. I was surprised at how well built the stand is. Sturdy and easy to set up. Had the the pedals of my bike at shoulder level and had no problem working on it and I'm 5'-9". The stand folds nicely and can fit in any car or truck. This stand is well worth the purchase. You might want to consider buying the tool tray accessory, it helps.
