Nothing flashy about tent footprints but they are a very good idea. This is easier then dragging a tarp along with you (both easier to setup and takes up less space) for protecting the bottom of your tent. Also weighs very little so great for backpacking.
You just fit the grommets over the tent poles ends the same way you do the tent corners, and you are done!

This purchase was for my husband. He and our sons and grandkids have taken up hiking. Not only was my husband THOROUGHLY pleased with it, but our eldest son will be ordering one very soon!
