By Gepetto Actually this motor is the bottom of the line in cost but is a real winner. I sold my 10 year old MinnKota which was still running great simply to upgrade to a new motor with about the same features. This one has 45 pounds of thrust whereas my old one had only 30 pounds. A great feature in this motor is the "battery test" which tells me how much life is left in the battery. Runs great. Feels solid. I am sure it will give me another 10 years or more of satisfaction...as my prior MinnKota did.

By Speedlimit I have this motor mounted on a 140lb. 14 ft. Alumacraft Jon Boat and it just about makes wake it moves so fast. easy to deploy. I have co-pilot remote added to it and that makes it even easier to use.
