I used this bag for a 2 week trip in central america. It was the perfect size, didn't have to check it on the airplane and could keep it above on all the buses (which is key when traveling through CA) but had plenty of space for all my stuff and all the things I purchased when down there with room to spare. Very durable, good design with the exterior pockets, and not too flashy. Overall great bag, esp. for the price.

These AD pictures are completely mis-leading. If you order a green or PineBox color pack you will not get what your eyes are telling you should be a 2 tone green pack. What you will receive is a pack that is Black and Dark Olive in color. Someone's trying to clear the warehouse.
The pack itself is kind of small and really should be listed as a youth or females pack. That was expected at 2800CI. It will work as a day pack. I'm now seeing the specs changing for the torso size on various vendors web sites for this pack. The horizontal slash pocket built on the pocket on the front side is almost worthless for trying to get male hand in.
It does seem to be made pretty good. And the Amazon product price is certainly reasonable. I think the shipping could be a little less. Shipping was almost $15.00 and I can't believe it truly costs more then $8.00 to ship this pack any place in the lower 48 states.

If the color is Really important to you, then no, it is not the color shown. Other than that it is a good pack. I used it on an over-night hiking trip and had no problems with it. The size is perfect for a child or a petite woman. My only complaint is that there is nowhere to attach anything to the outside of the pack.
