Best... pack.... EVER!!!Jan 11, 2011
By Julian Norman so, i got the Gregory Baltoro 70 about 2 years ago for a hike along the Lost Coast. i have to say, this is the best pack i have ever used.
Pros: -extraordinarily durable -large capacity -water-bladder pouch is highly useful -multiple compartments large enough for all that you need (one on each side of main compartment, one on the top flap, one on the front) -the main compartment is large and divided into the top section and the lower (which can be accessed by a separate flap), but if you only want to have it have one HUGE compartment, you can unhook the cloth divider and have more space available -very comfortable -EXTREMELY adjustable -lots of compression straps to cinch everything down
cons: -none at all
in all honesty, this is a great pack. yes, it's expensive, but it is WELL worth the money. it can carry all that you need and more, stays comfortable even after days of hiking, and will last for years without any problem.
overall, a great product

Great Pack!Mar 31, 2010
By Holly Fleming Love the space and accessibility. Very comfortable and durable. External pockets make quick access a breeze, and the bottle holder is a must-have!! Best pack I've ever owned by far!!

StunningJul 01, 2009
By Matty Ceph. This pack is absolutely stunning. Perfectly designed for maximum storage space. The main compartment stretches from top to bottom with plenty of quick stow-away pockets throughout the pack. Great. Because of this pack, I am now dedicated buying to Gregory Packs only, period.

Supremely comfortable packOct 22, 2010

I have done a one week backpack trip in the High Sierra every year for the last 30 or so years. I finally broke down and got a Gregory. By far the most comfortable pack I've ever used. Something about the suspension of the waist belt. It conforms to your hips and distributes the weight evenly so there are no hot spots. As others have said, I wish the mesh pockets on the front of the waist belt were a little larger, but that's about the only criticism I can think of. Love it.

Great pack, killer deal.Nov 05, 2010
By nathan wood At half off the list price, this pack is worth every penny. I love it. Initially I was sold on getting an Osprey pack but the price on the Gregory was unbeatable. I am not disappointed. This 70L pack has everything that the Osprey has except for the patented suspension system. But as I said, at half off the list price, this is the most pack you'll get for the money. Gregory thought of everything when they designed the Baltoro. I am a happy camper.
