Very comfy hiking & city boots, but no waterproofMar 10, 2011
By Adrian Cearnau As I've come to expect from Garmont, these boots are almost ridiculously comfortable to wear, with no break-in period. They seem sturdy built, even if China-made (most of their European offerings are made in Romania) and have held up well up until now.
One big achtung, though: THESE BOOTS ARE *NOT* WATERPROOF AT ALL. Even a bit of slush gets them damp pretty quickly, so a waterproofing solution like wax is mandatory.
