nothing wrong with it.Jun 19, 2009
By Chris Adcox I bought this bag for backpacking because it comes with a compression stuff sack, and is small, and light for a really good price. It fits nicely into the sleeping bag compartment in my backpack, and is nice and warm. I have no complaints, as it is exactly what I was looking for!

bag is great! highly recommendedJun 01, 2009

I am touring the USA this summer on bicycle and purposely bought this 20 degree bag because all the reviews for bags said that ratings are usually untrue not in your favor. Turns out, the bag keeps me too warm to sleep in most nights. I would recommend something lighter for the summer, but am excited to use this during colder nights in the future. very comfortable too.

Good price, but stuff size is NOT 12x6May 23, 2009
By Interpol987 I just received this bag in the mail and it is fairly compact, but by no stretch of the imagination could it's stuff size be called 12x6 in. It starts off at about a 9x16, but the stuff bag can be compressed as it has adjustable straps, so you can shrink it down to about a 8x13, which is not what I expected. I haven't taken it out sleeping yet, but the bag seems warm and well made. I feel somewhat duped as the main reason I bought this was for its advertised stuff size. I'm going to keep it simply because it's cheap and I'm not going to pay the shipping cost to return it. If compression size is not your priority buy the bag. If it is, stay away.

Great bag at a great priceSep 13, 2010
By Brandon L. I took this with me on a camping trip to Alaska where it got down to ~30 degrees at night, and it has been great. Here are some thoughts:
Pros: -Price -Stuff-sack that comes with bag compresses it pretty well. Not super-compact, but certainly good enough for the needs of most -Kept me super-warm during freezing nights. As other reviewers have indicated, it can even be a little too warm if it isn't cold out. I was also using a Thermarest mat, so I can't speak to how well it would hold up if placed directly on the ground / tent floor. -Mine got a bit damp one night when the walls of the tent started leaking a big during a heavy rainstorm, but the inside stayed warm and dry -No issues with zippers catching on fabric, etc, which I usually have issues with
Cons: -None that I can speak of.
Unless you're super-hardcore and want to spend $500 on a sleeping bag, I'd highly recommend this.

Used 4x and already freyed everywhere, bad stitching.Apr 08, 2011
By magnoliak Upon first receiving the bag I was stoked. Fast shipping, compression sack was great, a solid purchase aesthetically. My first time using it I was pleasantly surprised with it's overall performance/size/weight. However, I have to say that after some use I've found two main complaints. One: In testing it's temperature threshold, I found that this bag is more a 30 degree than a 20. Sad, but true. Two: Even after it's first use, this bag's stitching has begun to frey EVERYWHERE.
However, overall, the bag is worth the money. The stitching doesn't even seem to serve a purpose other than visually being there, so it's freying doesn't bother me so much. I have to say too, I love the zippers on this bag, they NEVER snag. Small and lightweight. Would have gotten the 0 degree though if I knew it was gonna not live up to its claimed 20 degree.
