It includes Velcro entrance seal, mesh pocket on ridgeline and webbing straps to protect the bark of trees. This hammock will accommodate any one up to 6 ft tall and has a weight capacity of 250 lbs. It features a large fly (canopy), which provides much better protection from sideways rain and wind. The Expedition Asym is the new general-purpose, economical model, an excellent choice for those who don't need to shave every ounce. The new Asym shape provides more comfort and room for shoulders at one end and legs at the other end for diagonal sleeping. The No-See-Um mesh and hammocks fabric will deflect wind to provide a calm space inside. The Hennessy Expedition Hammock is a survival shelter, a comfortable alternative to a tent - particularly in wet or rocky country - or a cozy place for a streamside nap before the evening hatch. With its rain fly and built-in bug netting, the hammock will admirably isolate you from weather and uninvited guests. A true winner for adventurers and comfort enthusiasts! | | | Features: | |

I will not sleep on the ground againAug 10, 2008

I have been converted to hammock camping. The rainfly works well. Setup and takedown is quick and easy. Materials and workmanship are excellent. No more carrying a tent and sleep pad and in summer, no sleeping bag, just a liner. The snakeskins are a good addition as they speed setup and takedown and packing.
Get a warbonnet blackbird insteadJan 03, 2012
By sirrahhc This hammock is ok but I would spend the extra $50 and get the blackbird. I got this Hennessy for like $160 and a buddy got the blackbird warbonnet for around $200 (he still had to buy a rain fly but he got a 16 oz 8 x 8 tarp from wal-mart for $10). His warbonnet has more foot room and opens up from the top so you can simply crawl in and out of it. The Hennessey only opens from the bottom meaning you have to climb into it from underneath which sucks for repeated up and down trips at night to use the restroom (as most peaople must make at night when hiking due to extra hydration efforts usually employed). This bottom-hatch style also makes it tough to keep your sleeping bag and sleeping pad lined up on the hammock due to repeated up and downs. Also, the warbonnet came with 500x's better strap system than the Hennessey.
