use them as window covers to keep from loosing money from heating and cooling bills. 1 pack of 10 does all the windows here and i save 30 bucks a month averagely

Price was right. I cut and lined the insides of an insulated feral cat shelter with the mylar emergency blankets and it worked very well to keep my furry feral felines warm during winter. The blankets reflect the heat back onto their bodies. When they come out for feedings on very cold days, they are warm and toasty! I got the idea on a feral cat site and it did the trick!

If you live in a cold climate this is a great item to have tucked in your glove box of your car. It takes up less space than a deck of cards and may save a life.

Makes great window insulators for the price. I use it instead of that window "shrink wrap" plastic insulation. Light still shines through like tinted glass. I got the idea from another reviewer here. They really do help.
You can make tinted 2-way mirror glass with it. Just moisten the window with water & a drop dish liquid solution, & it sticks to glass just like window tint film. Tints like sunglasses, but looks almost like a mirror from the outside.
