I'm 300lbs, and have back problems, and if you're looking for a cot that can stand up to abuse, this in the one to buy.

Army Veteran ReviewJul 12, 2011
By Jamie Lassiter This review is for the Earth Military Jamboree Military Style Aluminum Cot. Being in the Army for five years, I've had many experience sleeping on cots and I like to think I know what a good cot is when I sleep on one. This review will be very simple and to the point. I've had this cot for about a week and I've slept good on it. I use this as my bed at the moment because I have just moved. So far, there have been no problems to report and I would recommend this item to anyone searching for a cot. It's very durable and seem like it will hold a decent amoount of weight, but I am only 170. When you get up and lay down, there is no squeaking of any kind. So you don't have to worry about waking people up. It's very easy to set up. I would recommend installing the the pole on the side that has no velcro first. Then adjust the velcro on the opposite side to your liking (may require readjusting) and place the pole through the material. Does this seem confusing? I promise it's not. Once you have it in front of you, it will be easier to understand. I was able to get this out of the box and have it ready for me to sleep on in about 3 minutes. I agree with the positive reviews that other customers have said about this product.

Great cotJun 02, 2010
By K. Hamacher We got it as spare since we didn't want air mattresses. This is a very sturdy and thoughtful design. I tried it myself (6'4 220lbs) and was quite happy with the experience. I would assume, though, that 6'4" is the upper limit. The only thing that I found strange is that it did not seem to have a manual. It's not too hard to figure out but it would have been nice. Other than that, the size and weight, the sturdiness of the frame and the cloth, the accessories and the storage bag are very very nice. I highly recommend it!
