4Does Its Job And Stays Out Of The WayDec 09, 2005
By K. Fontenot "Prairie Cajun Lives!"
When tent camping alone, this little fan works wonders. It doesn't crank out a lot of air, but it does get things flowing pretty good considering how small it is. It beats lugging around a portable standup fan and having to fight with it all night. This fan stays tucked neatly out of the way on the dome of my tent.

I wouldn't suggest using it if you have more than one person in your tent with you, especially if you AND your guest get hot fairly easily. If you are alone, however, this little fan can keep you relatively comfortable all night.

It's a camper's dream for a little relief, but it isn't much help if you're camping in an area that stays rather hot in the evening.

4Great little fan....good for smaller dome tentsMar 11, 2007
By A. E. Cancellieri
This fan is great for a 2-4 person dome tent. I used it camping on a HOT weekend and it helped to circulate the air. The batteries lasted the whole weekend, with the fan being on continuously over night. This impressed me.

1Broke after 2 daysJun 26, 2007
By Edward Saum "ETSaum"
Be warned... The weight caused by the batteries in the base is extensive. When it worked, it was so great that my girlfriend pointed out we needed a second one. The weight of the batteries in the fan portion deformed the little plastic flanges that hold it to the backing, and two of the four broke within 48 hours. The fan will not hang now, and can only be held or set on a table edge. Poorly designed, given the weight of the fan mechanism and the batteries...

4This little fan packs a punchAug 04, 2006
By C. Jennings "Dad of Two"
When my fans arrived I wasn't sure about them. But when I put batteries in...WOW! For camping in a tent it is perfect, we bought two of them. One fan for each side of the tent. I think this fan is a great buy.

4Keeps us coolApr 08, 2011

I bought two of these little guys and they are worth the price but they have a few flaws. Like once the battery is in the fan becomes very heavy considering you're mounting it to a tent wall. Also the fan blade feels flimsy, I mean I'm glade it's soft and flexible because I've hit my hand on it before but it does feel like it will break, that's why it's best to take the blade off of the fan while traveling with it. And while the magnet feature is a great way to mount it on your tent without worrying about damaging anything if you're by yourself you can't put it on a wall that is far away from an opening in the tent.

The battery does last a long time I've been on 2 weekend camping trips with them and haven't had to change the batteries once even though we left them running all night. Also it only uses 1 D battery and if you get 2 you can alternate between them to make it last longer. And the best thing about it is it creates a little white noise so it helps to drown out the sounds of the woods at night.
