3A lot smaller than expected.Sep 02, 2011
By Hannah Mazz
I researched this screen tent, and thought it would be big enough to go around a standard campground picnic table (8' long and 5' wide including benches). Unfortunately the shape and slope of the sides greatly reduce the usable area of this tent and made for a somewhat frustrating camping experience. Unfortunately the free shipping option from Amazon took ten days to get here, at which point it was too late for us to even try it out, much less return it and look for new one. So we set it up at the campsite and discovered that the picnic table almost poked out the two door ends of the screen tent, and we had to duck under the tent and bend to get into and out of it and around the table. We like to cook with the camp stove on the end of the picnic table, and we had to keep the screen doors open so we could use the ends of the table, thus defeating the purpose of the screen. The tent didn't keep anything dry when it rained either, again because of the sloping walls. All in all, a big disappointment and we'll be trying to sell it and get something better - and rectangular - for next year's camping trip.

So, yes, this is well made and easy to put up. Everything is pre-assembled and can be put up by one person in minutes. But it is not a good option for use around a picnic table, and the given dimensions (15'x13') are really misleading! I measured it and the tent is a little less than 10' long from door-to-door at about waist height, and only about 8' long door-to-door at head height.

My husband put this up by himself in less than a minute. It is the first screen house i have owned that fits back in the carrying bag it came with. It is big enough to fit over any size picnic table. it has two doors. It ALSO HAS SPF!!! This is the best one on the market. The price is great. Do not hesitate to buy this screen house.

5Great screen houseMay 20, 2011
By Tracy J. Jacobsen "grannycat"
I have had this screen house for 6 weeks. I put it up in about 5 minutes by myself without difficulty. It has been in place ever since, in spite of rain, hail and high winds. I wanted a screen house both for myself and my cats. They have "ABO Fun Run" tunnels joined together to lace about the back yard, but like to roll and snooze in the cool grass. I joined the tunnels to one side of the screen house with cable ties, and left the other zip entry for me. I reasoned that it would be perfect because it has no floor, and the angle of the sides would permit some sun and rain to enter. The grass continues to grow, dispelling my fear that it would soon be a mud pit. I mowed inside it last week with a reel mower.

I got additional tent pegs to secure the base so that the cats cannot squeeze out underneath, and they have worked wonderfully. No escapes 24/7. They have not damaged the screen fabric at all, and I am sure they have tried. I feel better knowing my kitties have the freedom to go safely outdoors anytime and I can share a space with them in the cool grass.

Definitely a 5 star product no matter how you plan to use it.

4So easy to set upJul 25, 2010
By An Bui
Used the screen house for the first time this weekend. Setup was so easy, as was takedown. I could do it by myself in about 3 minutes. The stakes that come with it are standard, but I suspect they would not hold up well if brought to the beach. It is advertised as a no-see-um mesh, whatever that means. My only thing is that it feels somewhat flimsy, although it did hold up well this past weekend.

3Decent product. A little small for a picnic table.Aug 25, 2011
By J. Carpenter
This is a well made product. The screen material is very fine and does a great job of keeping the bugs out of it. The 3 minute setup is true, but not on your first attempt. Once you see how it goes up, it is easy. I believe that the bars get shook around during shipping and end up in weird places inside the packaging. Once you figure out how they fold out and are able to pack it yourself after tearing it down, the next time it is much easier to set up.

My issue with this product is the size of it. It definitely is big enough to sit over a picnic table. We use it while camping. But the slanted walls intrude of your walking space around the picnic table, making it feel really cramped inside. I wish the walls were more vertical, because the overall size is sufficient but you lose so much usable space inside due to the slanted walls. If you are seated at the picnic table it is fine, but you will be ducking your head if you need to walk around the table much.

I like the hook at the top that allows you to hang a small lantern inside. Nice touch.
