Include the instructions, pleaseNov 27, 2010
By Gerald T. Hicks
"Wildman!"
This tent pole repair kit in cludes shock cord, two ferrules, six washers and a lead wire - but no instructions. I found the instructions easily by going to Coughlan's website, but including that one piece of paper in the package would have been a nice touch. Buying the kit lead me to seek the instructions, which include an illustration that helped me understand shock cord tent pole technology. All I wound up using from the kit was the lead wire (reusable) and one washer, so I have almost a full kit for next time. Good product. Thanks!

perfect productMay 27, 2007

This product was exactly what I needed to repair the pole of my tent. Very hard to find in stores but I did find a local store (after much searching) as one was not long enough for my tent pole. Could come in a longer length so it would fit larger tents but I used two and tied them together.
Tent Pole Repair Rather Than ReplacementApr 01, 2012
By Arthur H. Wagner The kit instructions were not too illuminating, but the two kits I purchased restored my two man tent to service after many years of idleness in the garage loft. The worst effort was removing the rotted and knotted old cord form the rods, and insuring I kept track of the front and rear rods which had different shapes. I'd recommend labelling before removal of old cords.
Tent repair for campingOct 09, 2011
By Jacquelyn Y Canoose When you are at the campground, you are far from a store selling tent supplies. Having this small package on hand was a saver! It has what I needed.
Tent Pole Repair KitSep 23, 2011
By Donna M. Sognefest The metal ferrule in the tent pole repair kit fit the tent pole being repaired perfectly. The kit is inexpensive and is valuable to have on a campout.
