A MUST if you own a pop up tent!Jun 08, 2010
By JohnQpublic
"True Review"
NO more tie downs or staking into the ground, just use these universal weights! I bought mine at Dicks Sporting store. The good thing about these weights is that they are universal- which means you can use them for any pop up tent- and they are easy to cart around. It's a must to have some form of tie down or weights for these tents because they will blow away with the slightest burst of the wind! I learned the hard way so you didn't have to. Hope this helps :)

Canopy WeightsAug 21, 2010
By Bo These weights serve their purpose in light to moderate breeze, but at just 5 pounds per leg, one would need more than one set for a stonger wind. I'm glad I bought them.

I got it not long ago and it works great for me, I am happy somebody thought on a great solution like this one, I thought of drilling the floor but this item saved me a lot of time, this item is also hard to find in the stores, Thank you very much :)

Good Weights for WindAug 16, 2010
By JBinMD This was a super clever idea by someone. We've tried to weigh down canopies with coolers, backpacks, etc. These really do the trick. I made sure my new canopy had air vents in the top, but when the wind blows hard, the canopy still wants to lift. These weights keep the canopy on the ground! They are heavy and awkward to transport, but it beats losing your canopy in the wind.

They workAug 09, 2010
By R. Wise THis product works as promised. I wouldn't use them if it's super windy outside because you'll end up potentially breaking your pop-up tent; however, for a breezy day, these weights work.
