By gr81 recieved this tarp and was blown away by the quality of work...when i buy nylon tarps im worried about the strength of the fabric and stitching...this thing is alot thicker and stronger than my other nylon tarps...heavy...but what i gain in weight i get in strength...taped seams...double stitching....pocket corners...reinforced corners....lashing points everywhere....good stuff man dont hesitate to buy this....good bushcraft and hammock tarp...

Bomb Shelter!May 04, 2012
By robe1kanobe Ok maybe not a bomb shelter but you will definitely have no qualms or trepidations about being protected from the elements with this thing. Slightly heavier than most would prefer but i have learned that light weight means nothing when you have to fight with the quality of the product. I like gear that gets me thru the worst of times first and the best of times second. Since I DO NOT replace my gear every couple years and do not want to focus on how delicate I'm being with my gear each outing, this is the product for me.
Excellent Heavy Duty TarpMay 16, 2012
By Galen D This item was much better put together then I had anticipated. I figured this would be a nice tarp to use as a sill tarp in case I went camping to keep rain and wind off my tent. When I finally did go camping the rain fly on my tent leaked in several places and I needed to keep from getting wet I laid this tarp between the rain fly and the tent skin and I was dry the entire rest of the trip. This is a great little tarp for anything I think everyone oughta have some kind of tarp for camping or simply as a shelter it's really quite effective.
Great value for your moneyMay 16, 2012
By Fred W. Evans I would concur with the previous reviewers comments. If you're into ultra light backpacking look elsewhere but if you are looking for a tarp that, while light, isn't going to fail you then go no further. I bought this tarp to have an item with me that I wouldn't have to worry about failing when the weather got nasty. Yes, I know we all carry repair kits but, I also know that once something fails one constantly worries about the integrity of the item. This tarp will take a lot before it ever needs repairs and I'll take that over ultra light every time. I haven't had a chance to take it to the 'real world' but in all my playing in my yard and in all kinds of weather it has definitely showed its worth. Like I said, if weight is a prime concern then look elsewhere but, for me, that isn't a concern-ruggedness, reliability, and dependability are.
