This is a generic!Jul 17, 2009
By S. Hill BeachMart tries to pass this off as a name-brand product. This is NOT the well-regarded "Windbrella" made by Solartek. This is a cheaply made generic replica of the Windbrella. For example, the included bag doesn't even fit the folded umbrella.
Save you money and buy the real deal for the same price (make sure your umbrella says "Windbrella"). The Solartek Windbrella is justly rated as one of the best by Good Housekeeping. Buy it; not this!

Windbrella ReviewAug 28, 2008
By ESB The product, when used with a sand anchor, does exactly what it states. It stands up to the wind very well, having extra thick ribs of plastic which are not bowed out of shape by the wind. Fringe fabric that flaps in the wind makes some noise that some may find annoying. Carry case works fine. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, but you NEED a sand anchor as well.

worked greatDec 20, 2008
By L. Neumann we bought this for a trip to hawaii, and it was great to have along. We didn't get the corkscrew base, and it still held up well in the breeze.

Holds up in the windAug 18, 2009
By D. Lambert I was looking for an umbrella that wouldn't fly down the beach or turn inside out in breezy beach conditions. This held up well. It was lightweight to carry. The only drawback was it was a little small for 2 people to both sit in the shade.
