This is a great product to have, although a bit more costly than the contents warrant. However, after years of attending disaster preparedness classes that instruct you to put together a kit of your own, I had yet to do it. So, better safe than sorry - I wanted to go ahead and purchase a kit that was already put together. You pay for the convenience, but it definitely will be worth it if a disaster ever happens!

the array of items in bag are good and ample. this is a good emergency bag if you are not willing to put your own together or don't have the time.(much better than nothing)you could put one together much cheaper. the only drawback is the quality of items, most are cheaply made, although they will work in a pinch. and the first aid kit is probably the worst part. its nothing more than bandaids basically-you can pick one up for $5.But overall it will help you survive when the time comes.

Living on California's coast it is important to have a disaster survival kit on hand for earthquakes, tsunamis or other catastrophes. The 4 person survival kit has everything you and your loved ones will need to survive three days. It's perfect for a small family and only requires you to add special needs items like prescription medicine and baby supplies.
After the disaster in Japan the supplier, Survival Kits Online, donated equipment and time to help those in need overseas. After a short delay for humanitarian causes, they are back and supplying the US; I got my family's kit a few days ago and couldn't be happier.

Understandably, this kit took awhile to get. I ordered (along with everyone else it seems) right after the tsunami. It did take about a month to get the kit, but when it arrived I was very pleased. I was expecting a huge package, but it arrived in a very nice, durable duffle. Compact enough to fit just about anywhere. All the items were packed neatly, and fit snugly. Great kit for the money AND the peace of mind.

This item fit our needs perfectly. The only issue I had was that there wasn't a list of all the items in the kit. I just printed up the product description.
